The determination from the outset with Bullard on the pitch was obvious for all to see. Within minutes he had few shots, the first even though not on target but meant business. With Stoke on 10 men Hull always had that upper arm and Phil Brown must of got a better night sleep with the result but still only hanging on to his job if we are honest. The 2nd half Stoke come out fighting and i actually thought they were going go 2-0 up. Just unfortunate Shawcross hit the cross bar from Whelan's free kci.
